I know this lamp is marketed as a camping lantern, but it is definitely not what I use it for. As a university student, having sufficient lighting for my work is essential to minimizing the stress my eyes have to take by reading the complex equations I deal with every day. Alongside my desk lamp, this portable lamp illuminates my cramped desk space as well as the rest of my room. The controllable light modes make it easy for me to choose the level of luminance that I want. When you throw color into the mix, it brings about a great conversation piece and some spectacular mood lighting. I would have liked for there to be an RGB knob instead of a pulsating cycling light. Also, the micro-USB charging port is a very nice feature to have, since many of us own that cable already. The light lasts me around 2 hours before I need to plug it into charge. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend to all.
